Understanding Our Purpose

“For we live by faith, not by sight.” - 2 Corinthians 5:7 (written by Paul)

Not by sight is created to enable Christians to confidently represent Christian beliefs and values through clothes.

To wear these garments means to keep the word of God close and share it with people in the world.

 

To live by faith and not by sight means;

  1. To trust God.
  2. To view the realities of life from a heavenly perspective as opposed to the perspective of the world.
  3. To not allow the physical attributes of your past or current life circumstances to dictate or decide your future. There is and always will be a way to navigate through any situation or circumstance when living by faith. The word of God is the truth and by accepting this word we accept the truth and become open to living by faith.

 

A short but mighty prayer:

We pray that you remain close to God and do not stray, that you live by faith in accordance to the word of God and that your faith is only maintained and strengthened from this moment onwards. In Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

I'm Nicole, the founder and visionary behind NOT BY SIGHT. As a firm believer in the power of faith, I embarked on this journey to create a brand that not only celebrates style but prioritises spreading the word of God.

At Not by sight, we believe that what we wear is a reflection of who we are. Our mission is to provide clothing that not only enhances personal style but also allows individuals to boldly express faith in Jesus.

To get a glimpse of my character, this scripture was one of the first to completely change the course of my life:

Psalms 34:12-14

"Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it."
